about

Don't Believe in Time 1-7 is a collection of music I composed for James Hendershot's 2011 summer exhibition "Of Memory and Time". One score was composed for each of the artworks, and was played on headphones beside it. The only way to recreate that digitally was to make seven albums with each artwork as an album cover for it's own music. Each song title gives the name of the track followed by the name of artist and the name of the work.

About the track:
For this I was imagining what those guns would sound like stacked up, swaying and clanking and almost toppling over before regaining balance. I wanted to create their color and the weight of the sound and their metal. This one was recorded live at the Watermill Center on VHS cassette. Best heard on good speakers or bass handling Headphones.
