about

Don't Believe in Time 1-7 is a collection of music I composed for James Hendershot's 2011 summer exhibition "Of Memory and Time". One score was composed for each of the artworks, and was played on headphones beside it. The only way to recreate that digitally was to make seven albums with each artwork as an album cover for it's own music. This ensures you'll be looking at the correct artwork while listening to the music, imitating the gallery experience. It's makes buying the album a little bit more difficult, but it's worth it. All the albums are listed on the sidebar on the right. Each song title gives the name of the track followed by the name of artist and the name of the work. You can think of this as my "Pictures at an Exhibition"…I guess….what the hell is "Pictures at an Exhibition"???

About the track:
For this I wanted to create a vast icy wonderland where a frozen lullaby could be swept away in frigid wind and might lull the owner of those frozen stiff baby overalls to sleep.
