Latent Structure is Master of the Obvious, was recorded from 2000 to 2004 and was a collection of my dance scores I created during that time. I made about a thousand copies of it by hand and sold them around the world in my travels.
Those thousand copies have spread and much of this music has had quite a life and are regarded by a few weirdo's as my "classics". So I remastered them and put some love into them, and created a reissue adding a track I did in a similar vein for Sean Curran.
In feel that during this time in my life and going through the process of creating these works the choreographers I found my identity as an artist.
The little stories I tell on the track pages illustrate that.
The new album art is by my dear colleague Jason Akira Somma, and are video stills taken from the sessions we made for the "Grey Blue Yellow" film.
